From humble beginnings to a complete platform - our journey through the ups

Q4 2026 opened at full speed — more than 1,150 changes merged across the web app, the mobile app, the backend and the admin tools in the first half of October alone. The write-up groups every distinct piece of work with the pull request next to it, and the Q3 overview is still there for the quarter before.

2021 - Foundation Year

Q1 2021

• Assembled core development team
• Launched first beta app on App Store with 500+ initial testers and 2,000 DAUs before token release
• Conducted 50+ user interviews to validate product-market fit
• Established basic content moderation framework

Q2 2021

• Launched v1 token
• Community governed listing chain, price / market cap.
• Established first liquidity pools on Pancake Swap
• Built community of 2,000+ early adopters
• Implemented basic governance voting mechanism
• Smart contract security issue discovered

Q3 2021

• Rebranded to DeHub
• Started full app rebuild using React Native for better cross-platform support
• Airdropped all holders automatically
• Addressed security vulnerabilities from v1 with full Certik Audit
• Expanded team to 15 members across 3 time zones

Q4 2021

• Released prediction and raffle games
• Listed on Gate.io after a near 1000x price surge, with close to $10m in our LP
• Discovered listing agent was fraudulent, stole our fundraise and dumped our chart instead of airdropping Gate users, Gate investigated and apologised but could not identify the rogue employee as they lost the records, apparently.
• Implemented game mechanics with provably fair randomization
• Community grew to 8,000+ active members

2022 - Expansion & Innovation

Q1 2022

• Released arcade with 5 initial games including Super Robin Hood and Tomb Runner and predictions
• Achieved 5,000+ monthly active gamers
• Implemented blockchain-based leaderboards and rewards
• Introduced social features allowing friend challenges
• Built custom game engine optimized for mobile devices

Q2 2022

• Released stream app supporting 4K content with 99.9% uptime
• Produced first tokenised documentary featuring Jorge Masvidal, Brad Pickett & more by Luke Barnatt
• Genesis mint for Chads collection
• Secured SEC registration with the Philippine Government for real estate, construction and brokerage services
• Implemented advanced video compression reducing bandwidth costs by 60%
• Built NFT marketplace with royalty distribution system

Q3 2022

• Acquired $1,000,000 home for largest crypto raffle ever (15,000+ participants)
• Secured power of attorney for multiple islands and sea front strip in Palawan worth over $15,000,000 in an attempt to tokenise sales but failed due to regulatory challenges from the Philippine SEC
• Established partnerships with real estate and legal firms
• Created transparent raffle mechanics with on-chain verification

Q4 2022

• Contract tax triggers malfunctioned, freezing the token and our LP, forced to relaunch v2
• Migrated 25,000+ token holders to new improved contract
• Implemented standard ERC20 tokenomics to avoid future issues

2023 - Recognition & Decentralization

Q1 2023

• Alpha launch of complete d'app integrating all ecosystem components
• Released tokenised uploads with onchain ad revenue sharing (creators earning 90%)
• Commenced advanced analytics dashboard for creators
• Recommenced trading of DeHub v2 on Gate.io

Q2 2023

• Won most innovative company award at UK's Corporate Livewire, competing against 900+ companies in a vote based system backed by Sony, Samsung and other industry giants.
• Featured in major tech publications including TechCrunch and VentureBeat
• Patent applications commenced for core streaming technology and watch2earn mechanics

Q3 2023

• Announced partner airdrop for BJ (now fan.site), the adult fork of DeHub
• Facilitated knowledge transfer and technical support to fork team
• Demonstrated true decentralization principles in action
• Established framework for future community-driven forks

Q4 2023

• Voluntary delisting from Gate.io to prioritize decentralization
• Commitment to transparency with all DEX policy implementation
• Implemented automated liquidity provision strategies

2024 - Scale & Professional Growth

Q1 2024

• Listed DeHub tokens (DHB) on Eth mainnet
• Raised $1,000,000 for adult fork BJ (now fan.site) from VCs, Launchpads & Public Sales.

Q2 2024

• Listed SDHB on Base L2
• Dubai event expanded Middle East presence
• Co-Founders Mike Hales & Indi Cammish Opened TikTok agency in partnership with TikTok execs directly after successful year topping UK stream charts earning 1k a day
• Established creator partnerships in 15 countries

Q3 2024

• Completed major app upgrade with 95% positive user feedback

• Launched UGC ambassadorship program with 50 vacancies

• Released dhbscan.com for users to track activity across all DeHub token contracts

• Live subtitles on stages, translated into whatever languages the room is reading, plus live dubbing in the host's own cloned voice, paid by the minute in DeHub tokens ✅
• Every stage records, with seekable playback and a shared corner player across web and mobile ✅
• @assistant went live across posts, comments, live chat and direct messages with real tools instead of keyword matching, files support tickets that reach a human, and builds apps you describe to it ✅
• Creator Studio v2: a native generation studio with a Canva-style editor, a multi-track video editor, a shared render queue, ElevenLabs audio, 3D model generation, a free asset library, the Creator Flow canvas and sixteen presets ✅
• AI generation is paid in DeHub tokens at a price quoted before each job, with five free starter images for every wallet ✅
• The feed auto-translates into your language without gating on a wallet, and any video can be dubbed into your language on your own device for free ✅
• Brand poster and banner rendering became free and deterministic on the SM Template 2.0 renderer, and every blog banner and share card was re-rendered in the new style ✅
• Six new appearance themes — War, Osaka, Jungle, Island, Hacker and Horror — bringing the platform to fourteen full skins ✅
• The arcade opened with six games: King's Gambit chess, Jungle Trail, Street Slayer, Claude of Duty, the God's Eye community globe and Chartopia — a walkable trading floor that also runs in a VR headset — and began taking reviewed submissions from other developers ✅
• Sign in with Google, Apple, Telegram, an emailed code, an SMS code, a passkey or a wallet, run several identities from one browser, and delete your account yourself from Settings ✅
• The badge ladder is priced in dollars rather than a token count, an earned tier can never be taken back by the price, and a badge can be lent to another account one slot per rung climbed ✅
• A badge now weights what you do: a view or a reaction counts for more the higher your tier, on the same ladder as governance voting ✅
• All twelve SuperPowers went live, and Team up lets up to eight accounts pool their wallet power ✅
• Creators mark a post mature while composing it and viewers choose whether they see them, so adult and graphic work lives on DeHub without reaching the home feed ✅
• Kids Mode: a PIN-protected mode that shows only posts made for children ✅
• Ten reactions with double-tap and triple-tap, pinned and best-tipped comments first, Common Ground mode and an AI tone assistant in the comment box ✅
• Direct messages became end-to-end encrypted, with editing, replies, reactions, suggested replies, docked chats and full-screen calls ✅
• Live streaming rebuilt on DeHub's own ingest with near real-time playback, screen sharing, camera looks, a permanent stream key, a chat for every stream, tiered gift animations and replays ✅
• Multi-posting: publish to X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Farcaster and eight more platforms from the DeHub composer ✅
• Articles: a long-form mode in the composer with formatting, a cover image and drafts ✅
• The DeHub exchange: an order book, instant buys and sells, Easy trade from the wallet, and community pools for any token on Base, Ethereum, Robinhood Chain or Solana ✅

• New members became a full directory with a chip that follows the name everywhere and an optional guided walkthrough, and moderation moved into the admin panel with chat powers and a report log ✅
• Wallets and sign-in were rebuilt end to end, and minting became optional — publish off-chain with no wallet at all and mint later if you want to ✅
• Mobile caught up across feeds, stages, posting, messaging and notifications ✅
• A daily posting allowance with overage priced in DeHub tokens: ten text posts and a gigabyte free every day, scaling with your staking badge up to 100 posts and 10 GB ✅

Q4 2026 and Beyond

• A full video editor on web and in the app: cloud projects with version history, shared review with timestamped comments, automatic highlights, scene and beat detection, background removal, captions in any language, and soundtrack and sound-effect generation ✅
• Foreign-language videos dub themselves automatically, with separate volume for the dub and the original ✅
• Creator gained dozens of new image and video models, hundreds of presets including 180 Maboroshi presets, Maboroshi video replacement, viral effects, character templates and a motion clip library ✅
• AI agents take private prompts, bulk actions, scheduled and daily tasks, and can work together in task swarms ✅
• System Light joined the themes, System went fully immersive, and the DeHub Cut icon family and liquid glass reached every surface ✅
• Feed videos and photos hug their shape, play as clean muted previews and open into Shorts, and Shorts carousels now run through the home feed ✅
• Live viewers got a Who's here sheet with top tippers, tap or swipe to clear the screen, synced reactions, and a ripple around everyone who is live ✅
• Stages and livestreams can be scheduled straight from the post composer ✅
• Ended polls show their final results, the thumbs-down moved into the reaction tray, and AI overview sits in every post menu ✅
• Rich share cards for Polymarket, Manifold, Snapshot, Audius, DeFi and any open link, and share images that show text posts and their engagement ✅
• Reputation-backed bounties with verified payouts, and sponsor-funded creator support ads ✅
• Profiles got a frosted collapsing header, pinned community art, a landing tab the owner chooses, username edits and real totals on every tab ✅
• Communities: invite your followers, add existing posts, and see recent contributors recognised ✅
• Revenue and costs published on the stats page, from recorded provider costs ✅
• A dedicated Feedback page with everything the community has published, and a prompt-first Requests workspace ✅
• Wallet sign-in hardened with single-use proofs, passkeys that unlock on other browsers, and wallet resets that pick up where they stopped ✅
• Web startup bundled from hundreds of files into a handful, an Intermission maintenance screen served from the edge, and images that keep loading when the image service is unreachable ✅
• The Android app moved to Expo 55 with a faster start, screen recording straight into the editor, and message boxes that stay above the keyboard on every phone ✅
