Community Guidelines

Last updated: 26 August 2026

DeHub is a decentralized, user-owned platform, but it is not a place without rules. These guidelines set out what is and is not allowed, how to report content, and what happens after a report is made. Policy is set by community governance; enforcement is carried out promptly by designated moderators.

What Is Not Allowed

The following content and behaviour are prohibited anywhere on DeHub, including posts, comments, streams, messages, profiles and usernames:

Adult Content

Explicit pornography is not permitted on DeHub and will be removed. Non-explicit nudity and mature themes are allowed but must be marked as mature using the content rating control when you post, so that other users and age-appropriate filters can handle it correctly. Repeatedly failing to mark mature content is itself a breach of these guidelines.

How to Report

Reporting takes a couple of taps and can be done from the content itself:

What Happens Next

Reports are reviewed by designated moderators — community-elected administrators and top-ranking badge holders — who hold delegated authority to act without waiting for a governance vote.

Appeals

If you believe a moderation decision was wrong, it can be appealed through community governance. Governance sets the policy moderators enforce and can review or reverse individual decisions. Enforcement, however, is immediate — content stays down while an appeal is considered.
