DeHub Creator vs Higgsfield: Same Models, Fairer Credits, Cheaper Veo (2026)
By DeHub Team — 2026-08-13
If you make AI video, you have probably priced up Higgsfield. It is the best-known all-in-one AI studio, it carries the frontier models, and its adverts are everywhere. This guide is the honest head-to-head: what DeHub Creator runs, what it costs next to Higgsfield's published 2026 pricing, and why the biggest difference between the two is not any single price — it is what happens to your unused credit at the end of the month.
The one-line version: DeHub Creator runs the same class of frontier models — Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, Nano Banana Pro — priced per job in DHB at a fixed peg, with credit that never expires, a free daily allowance that accrues while you are away, and premium video that comes out 13–42% cheaper than Higgsfield's best rate. The longer version has real numbers, and a section on where Higgsfield is genuinely cheaper, because a comparison that only shows the flattering rows is an advert, not a guide.
What DeHub Creator actually is
DeHub Creator is the AI studio built into DeHub, the decentralised social network. One surface covers image, video, 3D, audio, agents and a browser video editor, and everything you generate can publish straight to the DeHub feed — where content earns through tips and watch-to-earn rather than sitting in a downloads folder.
The model catalogue is the same names you would cross-shop anywhere in 2026:
- Video: Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Fast, Seedance 2.5 / 2.0 / 2.0 Fast, Kling 3.0 Pro / 3.0 Standard / 2.6 Pro / 2.5 Turbo, Runway Gen-4 Turbo, Luma Ray 2, MiniMax Hailuo 2.3, Wan 2.6 and 2.5, PixVerse V5, LTX Video
- Image: Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2, Gemini 3 Pro, Seedream 4.5, FLUX.2 Pro, FLUX Kontext Max, Recraft V4.1, Ideogram V3, Qwen Image, Grok Imagine, Z-Image Turbo
- 3D: TRELLIS, Hunyuan3D 2.0, Tripo 2.5, Rodin
- Audio: text-to-speech, music generation, transcription and voice tools
No model on that list is decorative. Every one of them is selectable in the composer and priced before you run it.

How DeHub credits work — and why the unit matters
Most AI studios sell you an abstract credit. A video is 7 credits here, 58 credits there, and what a credit is worth depends on which subscription you bought — the same generation costs a Starter subscriber more real money than an Ultra subscriber. You are doing bundle maths before you have typed a prompt.
DeHub prices in DHB, pegged at 1,000 DHB = $1 of generation. That gives you four things the credit-bundle model does not:
- One price for everyone. A Veo 3.1 Fast clip costs 423 DHB whether you are on a plan, topped up once months ago, or running on the free allowance. Nobody gets a worse rate for being small.
- The quote is the charge. Every job shows its exact price before you run it, and the number you see is the number debited — the platform prices each job server-side, so there is no gap between the label and the bill.
- A job that fails to start refunds itself. If the provider rejects a job after you have been charged, the debit comes straight back automatically.
- A real ledger. Every charge and refund is a visible line item, so you can always reconcile what you spent against what you made.
And the big one: DeHub credit never expires. Top up 50,000 DHB today and it is all still there in a year. That single property changes what every "price per credit" figure in the next section really means.

Free every day — and it adds up while you sleep
Sign in to DeHub and you get a 1,000 DHB starter balance plus 400 DHB of free credit per day — about $0.40 of generation daily, enough to make images every single day or bank towards video. The daily allowance accrues while you are away, up to a 30-day cap of 12,000 DHB. Come back after a fortnight and the fortnight is waiting for you.
Higgsfield's free plan gives 10 credits per day that do not accumulate — miss a day, lose a day — and the free tier does not include Veo at all. The same philosophy runs through its paid tiers: subscription credits do not roll over between billing periods, and even purchased add-on credit packs expire 90 days after purchase, per its published terms. Every Higgsfield credit is on a timer. No DeHub credit is.
The head-to-head on price
To keep this fair, the Higgsfield numbers below use its best published rate: the Ultra plan billed annually ($99/month for 3,000 credits, or 3.3 cents per credit). Most subscribers are on worse rates than this. The DeHub numbers are the same for every user.
Veo 3.1, 8-second video with audio:
- DeHub: 1,658 DHB = $1.66
- Higgsfield: 58 credits = $1.91
- DeHub is ~13% cheaper — and you do not need a $99 subscription to get that rate
Veo 3.1 Fast, 8-second video with audio:
- DeHub: 423 DHB = $0.42
- Higgsfield: 22 credits = $0.73
- DeHub is ~42% cheaper
Nano Banana Pro image:
- DeHub: 108 DHB = $0.108 — the same for everyone
- Higgsfield: about 2 credits, which is $0.066 on Ultra but roughly $0.15 on the $15 Starter plan — the same image, more than double the price, depending on which tier you bought
That last row is the credit-bundle model in one line: Higgsfield's headline rates only exist at the top of its ladder. And at the bottom of ours, entry image models start at 7 DHB — seven-tenths of a cent per image.
Where Higgsfield is genuinely cheaper
Here is the part a sales page would skip. On its big plans, Higgsfield's bundled rates for some volume models — Kling 3.0 at 720p, Seedance 2.0, Nano Banana Pro at Ultra volume — work out cheaper per generation than ours. If your entire workflow is bulk-generating on those two or three models, and you reliably burn a full 3,000-credit allowance every single month, price both platforms honestly before you choose.
But notice the load-bearing clause: reliably burn the full allowance. Higgsfield's advertised per-credit value only exists at 100% utilisation, because unused credits expire worthless. Use 2,000 of your 3,000 credits and your real cost per credit just went up 50%. DeHub credit cannot be wasted by a quiet month — whatever you do not spend is still yours, at full value, indefinitely. For most creators, whose output moves with deadlines and ideas rather than a billing cycle, that difference is worth more than any single row of the price table.
What a monthly plan buys
Plans on DeHub bundle a monthly DHB allowance with workspace features — on annual billing the bundled DHB works out cheaper than topping the same amount up yourself, and the per-job prices above never change, so no tier quietly devalues your credit. What the two flagships buy each month (one is priced in pounds, one in dollars — £99 is more money than $99, and the fine print covers that — but even converted, DeHub Ultra buys about a fifth more full Veo 3.1 per dollar):
DeHub Ultra — £99/month billed annually, 130,000 DHB:
- 78 Veo 3.1 videos, or
- 307 Veo 3.1 Fast videos, or
- 1,203 Nano Banana Pro images — or any mix, and the leftover rolls on forever
Higgsfield Ultra — $99/month billed annually, 3,000 credits:
- 51 Veo 3.1 videos, or
- 136 Veo 3.1 Fast videos, or
- about 1,500 Nano Banana Pro images — use it or lose it at the next billing date
On premium video — the expensive stuff, the reason most people subscribe to either platform — DeHub Ultra buys half again more Veo 3.1 and better than twice the Veo Fast.
At the entry level, DeHub Creator is £19/month, or £15 billed annually, for 23,000 DHB — 54 Veo 3.1 Fast videos, 13 full Veo 3.1 videos, or 212 Nano Banana Pro images, with every model unlocked. Higgsfield's $15 Starter buys 200 credits, does not include Veo at all, and limits you to selected models. Team (£65/seat billed annually, 88,000 DHB pooled) and Scale (£150/seat billed annually, 210,000 DHB pooled) cover workspaces, both with the same flat per-job pricing.
No plan is required for any of it: you can top up any amount of DHB whenever you like and pay as you go at exactly the same rates.
Made where it gets seen
The quietest difference is what happens after the render finishes. Higgsfield makes you a file; distribution is your problem. On DeHub, the studio lives inside the platform — a finished clip publishes to the feed in one step, where it can earn tips, views and watch-to-earn rewards from day one. If you are building an audience rather than a hard drive, the generation tool and the distribution channel being the same product is the whole point.
The fine print
Provider prices move, and when they do, DeHub's per-job quotes move with them — the quote you see at the moment you generate is always the charge. The generation peg is fixed at 1,000 DHB = $1, so your credit's generation value does not swing with the market. Higgsfield's figures in this guide come from its published pricing as of August 2026, using its best annual rate; it has restructured its tiers more than once this year, so check its live pricing page when you compare. DeHub plan prices are in GBP; Higgsfield's are in USD.
Try it with nobody's money
Every DeHub account starts with 1,400 DHB free on day one — the 1,000 starter plus the first daily 400 — and no card is required. That is a Veo 3.1 Fast video with change to spare, or a stack of premium images, and the daily 400 keeps arriving and banking either way. Head to dehub.io/creator, sign in, and make something.
