A Landmark Quarter for DeHub in the Middle East

Hard work and innovation deserve to be recognized. We were incredibly honored in Q2 2024 when DeHub achieved a significant external milestone, expanding our global footprint into the Middle East with a strong presence at multiple key events in Dubai.

Our team was on the ground, connecting with industry leaders, showcasing our technology, and forging new partnerships. This expansion represents a major step in our mission to build a decentralized future, and we were thrilled by the incredible reception we received.

DeHub's Dubai Event Schedule

Our tour of Dubai was packed with premier blockchain and web3 conferences. Here's where you could find us:

April 16: Blockchain Life

April 17: Global Blockchain Show

April 19: Token2049

April 21: ETH Dubai

April 22: World Blockchain Summit

April 26: 13th Global Blockchain Congress

April 29: Web 3 Dubai

Why the Middle East

Three reasons, and the regulatory one comes first. The UAE spent several years building an actual framework for digital assets rather than treating the category as a problem to be contained. Having previously lost a real estate tokenisation venture in the Philippines to a regulator's position on the structure, a jurisdiction with clear published rules is worth a great deal of travel.

Second, the creator economy. The region has a large, young, mobile-first audience that did not grow up assuming Western platforms are the default. That is a far better market for a platform arguing creators should keep 90% of what they earn than one where the existing arrangements are entrenched and unquestioned.

Third, proximity. A significant share of this industry's serious conversations physically happen in Dubai, and attending is not optional if you intend to be in them.

Seven events in two weeks

Running that schedule back to back was deliberate rather than merely enthusiastic. Each event draws a different crowd — Token2049 and ETH Dubai attract very different people from the World Blockchain Summit — and covering the range in one trip is the only efficient way to learn which parts of a market are real.

The value of a schedule like this is rarely the partnership signed on the day. It is discovering, across a few dozen conversations, that an assumption you had built a plan around is wrong: that the payment rail you expected people to use is not the one they use, or that a category you thought was open is already served by something you had never heard of.

We came home with several plans in worse shape than they left in, which is the correct outcome. An event where everything confirms what you already believed has usually told you nothing.

This was more than just a trip; it was a statement. DeHub is a global project, and our presence in Dubai has solidified our position in one of the world's most dynamic tech hubs. Thank you to everyone who connected with us. The future is bright, and we're just getting started!
