DeHub DePin
DePin is DeHub's community-powered media infrastructure, now in development. Operators will be able to set limits for spare storage, bandwidth and compute while DeHub coordinates useful hosting, transcoding and delivery work.
Designed for nodes to go offline
Community nodes never hold the only copy. DeHub origin storage remains the source of truth, online replicas serve available segments, and playback falls back to origin automatically when peers leave.
Protected content stays encrypted
Protected media can be stored as encrypted segments. Node operators do not receive playback keys simply because they host data. Public content remains publicly viewable through DeHub.
Variable, revenue-funded rewards
Verified contribution may receive a share of a platform-revenue-funded pool after an epoch closes. There is no fixed rate, minimum return, APY or guaranteed reward, and contribution records are not a promise of payment. Running a node creates electricity, bandwidth and hardware costs that may exceed any reward. Any future tokens settlement would occur on Base and remain subject to eligibility, network rules and applicable law.
The node client is not available yet. DePin will launch in controlled phases, beginning with delivery and adaptive video infrastructure.
